In this section, I will take a look at some of the fruits found in our supermarkets

I will try to provide what is important about the different kinds and how they are enjoyed or consumed.

The main focus of this article is to discuss how people eat, shop and what makes them select certain items for buying or eating. I will try to highlight their general preferences in regards to food types, colourings and flavours. The article also provides some interesting facts about fruit and its markets and where it can be found in supermarkets around the world.

Today’s society is becoming increasingly urban. The demand for food is still increasing, especially in Asia and Latin America.

Nowadays, people love to choose from as many different fruits as possible and eat some of them on a daily basis. Hence, the market for fruits has grown exponentially. This can be attributed to the fact that people are not just consuming one fruit – they are eating many of them at once – at least one per day!

The market for fresh fruits has been expanding rapidly over the last two decades because we have seen an enormous increase in global population growth with our current population of 7 billion people. Since then, there has been an exponential growth in demand for fresh fruit both at home and internationally which has resulted in a massive supply chain network between farms, supermarkets and consumers around.
